Cachos are important to indigenous music, & these hand-crafted Andean Cachos are made in Lima, Peru & are a traditional percussion instrument from the Andes that have a rich pre-Colombian tradition. While we stock many variations of cacho instruments, all are made either from Seed Pods or Bells. This Cacho is bound together with string & attached to a bamboo handle. Cachos are used by Andean Groups to keep rhythm when they are shaken to the beat.
