Description
Shakeres are typical indigenous instruments found in almost any ancient culture. Our Shakeres are dried gourds from Peru and are covered with a net of seeds woven with string. A Shakere can be played with either holding one hand or with both. The unique sound that comes by shaking the gourd is a wonderful addition to any drum ensemble.
